PD: Burglar Forced Way Into Female Victim's East Goshen Bedroom

A West Chester man was arrested for breaking into an East Goshen woman's bedroom and fleeing the scene over the weekend, authorities said.

The woman told officers an unknown man came into her bedroom and fled the night of Sunday, June 27 from her home in the 1600 block of Paoli Pike, according to Westtown-East Goshen police.

The woman locked herself in the room and called 911.

When officers arrived they noticed forced entry to the front door, but after a search, confirmed the suspect had fled the scene, police said.

After having a description of the suspect, officers remembered seeing a similar person on Paoli Pike while driving to the scene, police said.

Officers were able to locate the man in the 1500 of Paoli Pike and take him into custody, police said.

Kamrun Morrison was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, and criminal mischief.

Morrison was released from jail custody after posting $35,000 bail, court records show.
